This typological series was taken near the bank of the river Myka, Zhytomyr region in 2022. Most of these wooden gangways have already been ruined by water. People are going to build new ones at the very same places. They do it again and again during the time I’ve been visiting these places since I was a child. Besides documenting the forms of exact gangways in 2022 this series is a metaphor of ephemerality, fragility of being and how human beings stand against memory loss.
