Sasha Havrysevych Photography

Born in Radomyshl, Zhytomyr region, Ukraine and now based in Kyiv.

Being early in my career, I work with photographic images, both with creation ones and archival research, developing long-term projects that depict provincial Ukrainians in their daily routine as well as creating poetic cycles fulfilling with personal experience.

I was studying literature and languages, therefore I project my experience into my artistic practice and see photography as a part of linguistics. I often use literary methods of developing a project.

In 2020-2021 I completed two courses of Dimitri Bogachuk - Composition and Coloristic.

In summer 2023 I became Adobe Creative Residency Community Fund recipient.

Also I've been commissioned as a portrait and a commercial photographer.
